Weekly Meal Delivery:
Delicious, fresh, handmade meals delivered to your door for less than you can do it yourself. Imagine no planning, no shopping, no real cooking or clean-up. Nothing frozen or uncooked; simply heat for a few minutes and enjoy. No preservatives or unpronounce-able ingredients.  Spend your time on the more important things in your life. Our Origins:

In 2008, as a mom of 3 young kids, I was tired of resorting to chicken nuggets, happy meals or pizza for dinner.  Knowing that there was a better way, I came up with a plan to prep a few meals on Sunday for the week ahead. Now, when we raced in the door from work/school/sports/whatever, dinner was only minutes from being on the table, where the most important conversations happened.  I was less stressed, the hungry kids were quickly fed homemade food and we could decompress together and share the highs and lows from our day (we called it "the cherries and the pits").  When friends and neighbors heard that there was a way to bring their family back around the dinner table, Delicious Delivered was born.  Fast forward 13 years, those little kids are all grown and our mission is to make dinner time easy and delicious for your family.  
                                  
We pride ourselves on being a small, local company with Pacific Northwest ideals.  We source our ingredients locally and try to keep our carbon footprint to a minimum.  We want a happy, well-fed customer that we know personally.  All of our marketing is word-of-mouth which keeps our prices low and our clients are treated like family.   We are passionate about our mission to bring folks back to the dinner table, we believe sharing a meal is the best way to connect with each other.

FAQ:

Our goal is to make your life easier, but sometimes there are questions… 

 

How do I cook these meals?

All meals will come with cooking instructions.  When in doubt, warm your meals in the microwave with the lid slightly opened at 50% power in 1 minute increments until heated through.  It is best to stir soups every 1 minute to ensure even cooking. Most dishes can be transferred to an oven-safe dish and baked at 300 for 15-20 minutes until heated through. All meals should be heated to an internal temperature of 165 degrees unless otherwise instructed

During the pandemic: out of an abundance of caution we are currently only offering meals that can be cooked.  Although we are using every available precaution to ensure your health and safety we recommend that you cook your meals to 142 (the temperature that viruses are killed)

CONSUMING RAW OR UNDERCOOKED MEATS, POULTRY, SEAFOOD, SHELLFISH, OR EGGS MAY INCREASE YOUR RISK OF FOODBORNE ILLNESS.

 

What do I do with my used containers?

During the pandemic:We are temporarily requesting that containers not be returned. We will update you when this policy changes.

 

What do I do with my bags each week?

Please leave the red bag your meals are delivered in on your porch prior to your next delivery to avoid being charged a bag fee.  If you do not anticipate ordering in the near future, please let us know and we will come pick up our bag.  We sanitize our bags, let them rest for a few weeks and then reuse.

Do I have to be home to receive my delivery?

No, but if the weather is above 70 or you won’t be home within an hour, please leave a cooler on your porch – ice packs are great too!  It is best to refrigerate your meals as soon as you return home.

Do you have ingredient lists or nutritional information? 

At this time we don't have this information published. If you have allergies, please ask about specific dishes, we are happy to let you know about potential allergens. Our facilities do process nuts and should not be considered nut-free for anyone with severe allergies.

 

How long do meals last?

Most meals are designed to last up to a week in the fridge, but there are exceptions: seafood and green salads are best eaten in the first day or two after delivery.  Some meals (like ready-to-cook lasagnas) are terrific frozen for later use,  just defrost in the refrigerator for 24 hours before following the cooking instructions.  Other meals can be frozen too, though some ingredients – like potatoes – can turn out a bit mealy when cooked after freezing (except for our breakfast burritos, which freeze and reheat amazingly well).
